Job summary

Jobot in Oakland, CA is seeking a licensed attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience to handle matters from initiation through trial and potential appeal. You will represent clients in court, perform extensive legal research, and draft and respond to discovery requests.

The ideal candidate has exceptional courtroom presence, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload while coordinating with paralegals and staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience in litigation.
• Proven experience in trial, personal injury, asbestos, and legal research.
• Proficient in drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Excellent courtroom presence with extensive experience making court appearances.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and to work under pressure.
• Outstanding negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional client service, including maintaining regular communication and providing updates on case progress.
