Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has an immediate opportunity for a litigation associate in our Lexington, Kentucky office. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of litigation experience, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, handling complex discovery and ESI, and preparing cases for trial.

A Kentucky license is required; out-of-state candidates willing to sit for the Kentucky bar exam will be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of litigation experience including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, handling complex discovery and ESI, and preparing cases for trial.
• Tort experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Kentucky court system is a plus.
• A license to practice in Kentucky is required; out-of-state candidates willing to sit for the Kentucky bar exam will be considered.

Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for a litigation associate in our Lexington, Kentucky office. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of one year of litigation experience, including experience drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, handling complex discovery and ESI, and preparing cases for trial. Tort experience is preferred. Familiarity with the Kentucky court system is a plus. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

A license to practice in Kentucky is required. Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Kentucky bar exam, or eligible for admission in Kentucky, will be considered.

Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $45,000 + in bonus potential.
