SR Staffing, on behalf of a respected law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of litigation experience to join its civil and commercial disputes practice. You will handle matters under supervision, draft pleadings, and engage in client interactions.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing in the applicable state bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop as a litigator.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution under attorney supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with case strategy, witness preparation, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Review and analyze records, contracts, and other case-related documents.
• Support trial teams through hearings, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
