Job summary

Scion Legal, part of Scion Staffing, Inc., seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Shreveport office to handle labor, employment, construction, and commercial disputes with significant client responsibility.

The role offers partnership-track potential, a 1,900-hour annual billable target (or reduced-hours option), and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with an experienced partner recognized for complex disputes across Louisiana and Texas.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant litigation experience.
• Active Louisiana bar license.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong references.
• Substantial legal writing experience (law review or clerkship).
• Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters involving employment disputes, construction issues, and commercial conflicts.
• Manage assigned matters and maintain direct communication with clients.
• Research complex legal issues and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents.
• Support discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed.
• Work closely with partners to develop practical litigation strategies.
• Help clients evaluate disputes and pursue effective resolutions.
• Build client and referral relationships to support long-term practice development.
