• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation & Schedule

$100,000–$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Full-time, on-site five days per week at our Manhattan office.

About the Opportunity

A well-established New York City real estate law firm — with decades of experience representing sophisticated residential and commercial clients in NYC transactions and disputes — is seeking a junior litigation associate (1–3 years) to join its growing practice. This is a hands-on role with meaningful client interaction, real responsibility from the outset, and a clear path for long-term professional growth in a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Do

As a junior litigation associate, you'll independently manage the pre-trial life cycle of complex real estate and commercial litigation matters, including:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda


• Preparing and responding to discovery


• Conducting legal research and analysis


• Taking and defending depositions


• Appearing at court conferences and motion hearings


• Assisting with trial preparation

Matters run from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Court.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience handling civil litigation matters from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Court


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once


• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software systems


• Ability to commute to our NYC office five days per week


• Appellate experience is a plus, but not required
