Job summary

Jobot seeks a Litigation Associate with 5–7 years of experience to join its growing Litigation Division in a hybrid role with direct courtroom exposure and client interaction from day one.

The ideal candidate will handle sophisticated commercial matters across Maryland, Virginia, and D.C., with opportunities for advancement toward partnership. Active MD/VA/DC bar admissions are required, with multi-state admissions a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in substantive litigation, including commercial matters.
• Active bar admission in MD, VA, or DC (multi-state admissions a plus).
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and arguing motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Managing an active docket with substantial autonomy.
• Participating in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Communicating with clients and contributing to litigation strategy.
• Assisting with and participating in trial work.
