Job summary

LeoForce in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our active litigation team. The ideal candidate has a JD, admission to the Alabama State Bar, and at least five years’ experience handling complex commercial matters through all phases of litigation.

You will represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials; manage discovery; draft pleadings and motions; and collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Alabama state bar admission required.
• 5+ years of experience in litigation, focusing on contract disputes, business dissolutions, and general business litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Handle a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, business dissolutions, and various other business litigation matters.
• Conduct thorough and detailed discovery processes to gather necessary information and evidence for each case.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and persuasive arguments and presentations for depositions, court hearings, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents in a clear and effective manner.
• Provide sound legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts and strategies in an understandable way.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on contract disputes, business dissolutions, and business litigation.
• Admission to the Alabama (AL) state bar.
• Proven experience in trial practice, courts, depositions, and discovery.
