Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Alabama practice in Birmingham, AL. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Alabama and in good standing; additional state licensures preferred, with experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate litigation.

Responsibilities include managing probate, title curative, eviction matters, handling cases from referral to disposition, attending court hearings, performing discovery, and preparing and reviewing legal documents

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Alabama.
• Knowledge of state laws and civil procedure; federal practice is a plus.
• Experience in real estate, mortgage, and/or commercial litigation preferred.
• Familiarity with FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and related laws is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn foreclosure, bankruptcy, or evictions if inexperienced.
