Job description

Miller Monroe Holton & Plyler is seeking an associate attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience preferably in complex business or construction. We are also interested in candidates with strong litigation instincts, excellent writing skills, and a desire to handle complex and varied matters.

The work is substantive, interesting, and varied, with opportunities for meaningful responsibility, direct client involvement, courtroom experience, and strategic case development.

We are a non-traditional, family-focused firm with deep community ties and a highly flexible workplace. We believe excellent legal work and a family-conscious approach to practice can and should coexist. We are committed to creating an environment where attorneys can thrive professionally while also maintaining meaningful lives outside the office. To that end, we are open to creative arrangements, including part-time or reduced-hour schedules, for the right candidate.

We value strong relationships with our clients and our community. Our attorneys work closely with clients to understand their businesses, objectives, challenges, and long-term goals. We also believe that great work is best done in a collaborative environment. Our firm culture is team-oriented, supportive, and collegial.

Our firm also embraces technology, AI, and modern litigation tools to serve clients efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, practical, collaborative, hard-working, and interested in practicing law in a modern legal practice.
