Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Experience drafting dispositive motions and handling complex discovery.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage matters while working as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Manage written discovery, document review, and e-discovery projects.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and status.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to develop practical legal solutions.
• Manage deadlines and multiple active matters in a fast-paced practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial litigation and experience managing matters through all phases of the litigation process. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with clients, developing case strategy, and collaborating with partners on complex legal matters.
