Job summary

Scura, Wigfield, Heyer, Stevens & Cammarota, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Labor & Employment Litigation team. This position offers a fully remote or hybrid schedule with preference for candidates in Pennsylvania; you will handle state and federal labor matters and collaborate with colleagues across offices.

Requirements include a JD and PA bar admission, 2+ years of litigation experience, strong writing and advocacy, and the ability to manage a caseload independently while

Qualifications

• A JD degree and active Pennsylvania bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Experience practicing in state and federal courts.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
• Must be available for in-person court appearances in Pennsylvania or New Jersey as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle Labor & Employment litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and develop litigation strategy.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings, primarily in Pennsylvania.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, in-house counsel, courts, and firm personnel.
• Collaborate remotely with attorneys and staff across practice areas.
• Assist with Personal Injury and other civil litigation matters based on experience and firm needs.

Title: Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment Litigation

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid (U.S.-based; preference for candidates local to Pennsylvania)

We are seeking a motivated Attorney to join our established and expanding litigation practice, with a primary focus on Labor & Employment Law and the opportunity to work on Personal Injury and other civil litigation matters.
