Job summary

SR Staffing seeks a qualified Attorney - Commercial Litigation Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have five to seven years of experience handling general commercial litigation and will be comfortable practicing in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and depositions; conducting thorough research; and representing clients in complex disputes. Large law firm experience is preferred; real estate and finance matters are a plus.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation.
• Experience in New York State and federal courts.
• Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Drafting and arguing motions.
• Deposition experience, including expert depositions.
• Real estate and finance matters preferred.
• Trial experience a plus but not required.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

• Experience taking and defending depositions, including expert depositions.
• Experience with real estate and finance matters preferred.
• Trial experience a plus but not required.
