Job summary

Leatherwood Legal Recruiting is partnering with a premier New York City law firm to find a driven Commercial Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience. The role offers hands-on work on high-stakes matters and a strong preference for candidates with background in real estate-related disputes and construction law.

You will draft and argue motions, take depositions, manage discovery, prepare witnesses, and participate in trials, with a focus on NY civil

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on, complex commercial litigation experience, preferably in New York City.
• Familiarity with real estate litigation and construction law is a major plus.
• Working knowledge of New York civil procedure.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• The right candidate will already be living in New York City.

Responsibilities
