Job summary

Adams & Martin Group in the United States is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation practice and work closely with attorneys through all phases of litigation.

You will draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and other documents, manage calendars for hearings, depositions, and trials, and handle court filings.

A detail-oriented, proactive team member with strong communication and organizational skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of litigation legal assistant experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules, e-filing procedures, discovery.
• Self-starter mentality with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Maintain calendars for hearings, depositions, trials, meetings, and deadlines.
• Handle state and federal court filings, including e-filing procedures.
• Prepare and organize discovery, exhibits, and case files with accuracy.
• Utilize Word and Foxit PDF to produce polished legal documents and maintain case documentation.
• Work independently and as part of a proactive team with strong communication and organizational skills.
