Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. seeks a Lithography Process Development Engineer to advance lithography processes for advanced packaging and MEMS/photonic devices. You will work with process, equipment, and integration teams to optimize CD, overlay, and defectivity while applying data-driven methods for process improvement.

The role requires hands-on semiconductor fab processing experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Physics or related field.
• MS or PhD preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize lithography processes for advanced packaging and MEMS/photonic devices.
• Collaborate with process, equipment, and integration teams to meet CD, overlay, and defectivity specs.
• DOE studies to identify key parameters and establish robust operating windows.
• Monitor inline and end-of-line SPC charts and investigate process excursions.
• Translate device designs into manufacturable lithography solutions and support tech transfers.
