Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Literacy tutor to work with K-3 students in small groups to strengthen early literacy skills. You will collaborate with school reading specialists to boost phonemic awareness and reading fluency, delivering targeted support in a supportive classroom setting.
Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and must be able to relate well to children and staff in a school environment.
The Literacy tutor works with students in grades K-3 in small groups of students of five or less, who have been identified as needing additional support in early literacy
The Literacy tutor works side by side with the school reading specialists to help students improve early literacy skills, including phonemic awareness and fluency.
