Job summary

The University of New Hampshire's Community Literacy Center (CLC) seeks a Research Assistant Professor to lead and conduct research across SLATE and related literacy initiatives, partnering with schools, families, and community organizations in New Hampshire.

You will mentor graduate students funded through the grant, support practicum opportunities, contribute to grant reporting, and help expand community-based research through Multilingual Book to Art and Community Storytime.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Education required.
• Expertise in literacy research and evidence-based practices.
• Experience with multilingual learners and underrepresented students.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and oversee SLATE research studies.
• Disseminate research findings via publications and conferences.
• Mentor doctoral and graduate students funded by the grant.
• Collaborate with SLATE team, schools, and community partners.
• Support grant reporting, documentation, and compliance.
