Job summary

Marshall Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Clinical Analyst II to support, maintain, test, and optimize LIS and related applications in the clinical laboratory environment.

You will bridge Information Systems and laboratory operations, lead testing, coordinate upgrades, and ensure workflows deliver safe, accurate patient care. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with technical and clinical staff to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Medical technology/CLS license or equivalent as required for the role.
• At least two years of LIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced LIS expertise to support functionality, maintenance, configuration, and optimization.
• Support stable operation of LIS and integrations, including middleware and connected applications.
• Coordinate system upgrades and implementations, and lead testing and change management.
• Serve as liaison between IS, laboratory end users, and vendors.
• Translate operational needs into LIS specifications and workflow improvements.
• Lead analysis, testing, and maintenance for system updates and changes.
• Review LIS change requests and testing documentation for quality and compliance.
• Mentor and support team members and assist with onboarding and training.
• Communicate changes, testing requirements, and implementation plans to stakeholders.
