Job summary

Marshall Health Network, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Clinical Analyst II to support, maintain, test, and optimize LIS and related applications, acting as a bridge between Information Systems and laboratory operations to ensure safe, accurate patient care.

The role leads testing, change management, and system upgrades, collaborating with stakeholders across laboratory, pathology, and digital pathology systems to enhance workflows and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• CLS license or clinical lab credential as required for the role.
• At least two years of LIS experience.
• Technical and functional knowledge of an LIS.
• Experience leading work activities or coordinating projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced LIS expertise to support system functionality and optimization.
• Coordinate system upgrades, implementations, and workflow optimization projects.
• Serve as liaison between IS, laboratory end users, and vendors.
• Translate needs into system specifications and configuration requirements.
• Lead analysis, testing, and maintenance activities for updates and changes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and end-user training resources.
