Job summary

The Watson Clinic, LLP is seeking a Laboratory Information System Analyst II to provide computer technical services for the laboratory, including daily operations, vendor/project management, design, testing and implementation of changes and upgrades, LIS billing validation, and staff training on new LIS functions.

Responsibilities include change control tracking, test planning, scheduling, audits/inspections readiness, and ensuring accurate billing and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or related science with LIS training.
• Alternate degree: Computer Science with laboratory LIS experience.
• Experience in a clinical lab setting and knowledge of data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations – track change control items and prioritize requests.
• Vendor management – open tickets, coordinate with vendors, document for audits.
• Project management – design, test, implement changes with cross‑department coordination.
• Communication – update management and staff; document project status.
• System billing validation – ensure correct billing for patients and payers.
