Huntsville Hospital seeks an LIS Analyst II to support the Laboratory Information System and daily operations. You will update databases, test upgrades, implement interfaces, and maintain hardware while helping with troubleshooting and project management.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work across organizational lines; after-hours on-call support is part of the duties and CAP compliance is a focus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; degree preferred for advancement.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or MT certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a clinical laboratory with IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the Laboratory Information System and daily operations.
• Perform database updates, changes, and system upgrade testing/validation.
• Handle interface implementation and support, hardware maintenance and support.
• Troubleshoot systems, manage projects, ensure CAP compliance, and provide after-hours on-call support.
