The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is seeking a dynamic Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 for the Noblestown Road store in Pittsburgh. You will lead a team, drive sales, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment under the guidance of the General Manager.

This full-time role involves shift leadership, staff development, customer service excellence, and strict adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles).
• One year of lead retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Supervise store activities during assigned shifts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Team Guidance: Assign work, inspect completed tasks, motivate employees, and provide direction to staff.
• Sales Support: Receive shipments, stock merchandise, and assist customers with product selection.
• Customer Service: Address questions, resolve concerns, and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate stock levels, organized displays, and store records.
• Store Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while handling products safely.
