Fine Wine & Good Spirits in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dynamic Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 to help lead daily store operations at the Noblestown Road location. You will work with the General Manager to motivate and develop staff, drive sales, and uphold high standards of store presentation.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, inventory accuracy, and a positive shopping environment. Experience in retail leadership and knowledge of store operations is required.

Qualifications

• One year as Liquor Store Clerk 2 or two years as Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• One year of lead retail sales work
• You must meet PA residency requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Supervise store activities during assigned shifts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Team Guidance: Assign work, inspect tasks, motivate employees, and provide direction to staff
• Sales Support: Receive shipments, stock merchandise, and assist customers with product selection
• Customer Service: Address questions, resolve concerns, and promote a positive shopping experience
• Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate stock levels, organized displays, and store records
• Store Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while handling products safely
