Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Liquor Store General Manager 1B to lead operations at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store on North Front Street in Steelton. You will drive store performance, manage a team, ensure excellent customer service, and implement strategies to meet sales targets.

You will oversee daily operations, inventory, compliance, and staff development in a fast-paced state-owned retail environment. This is a full-time, onsite role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or Liquor Store General Manager 1A, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years as Liquor Store Clerk 2 or 2 years of lead or supervisory retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and drive sales performance.
• Lead and develop store staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Execute sales initiatives through effective inventory handling and customer service.
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe store environment.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and compliance with policies.
