Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a dynamic Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 for the Huntingdon Pike store in Rockledge. You will supervise shifts, lead a team, support sales, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment while partnering with the General Manager.

Full-time role with onsite parking and a 75-hour biweekly schedule. Telework is not an option. This position emphasizes customer service, inventory control, and store safety, with PA residency and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 or two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or one year of lead retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Shift Supervision: Manage store activities during assigned shifts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Guide employees by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and offering direction.
• Sales Support: Assist with receiving shipments, stocking products, and helping customers choose items.
• Customer Service: Address questions, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Store Safety: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
• Inventory Control: Help manage stock levels and maintain accurate product displays.
