Job summary

Syngenta in the United States seeks a production operator to join our liquid plant products team. You will perform tasks across all phases of production, applying safety and quality procedures and following the operating manual to meet times and resource targets.

You will operate and troubleshoot filling lines, load materials, perform line clear downs, and help maintain safe, efficient plant operations while recording quality checks and using related information systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical background is preferred.
• Prior production, packaging or quality control experience desired.
• Demonstrates keen attention to detail in all tasks.
• Embraces continuous learning and quickly applies new knowledge.
• Works effectively in teams to achieve common goals.
• Manages time efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Prioritizes safety and maintains high quality standards in all operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple formulating equipment following standard work and batch cycle times.
• Set up and run semi and automatic filling lines; load materials and perform clean downs.
• Follow site policies and procedures for safe, efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment with assistance and implement corrective actions when cycles fall behind.
• Operate forklift and add materials to formulation vessels as needed.
• Maintain safety, environmental and housekeeping standards.
• Interpret planning docs and record quality checks.
• Use information systems related to F&P technology.
• Carry out basic maintenance on filling lines and related plant.
