Job summary

Standard Calibrations, Inc. is seeking a Flow Calibration Technician to calibrate, verify, and repair liquid-flow measurement equipment in a controlled laboratory setting. The role involves operating calibration systems, collecting data, and ensuring traceable results in compliance with SCI quality requirements.

You will analyze data for trends, prepare calibration reports, maintain calibration standards, and support training of junior staff while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, verify, troubleshoot, and, when authorized, repair IM & TE used for liquid-flow measurement to ensure compliance with published specifications and procedures.
• Maintain primary and/or intrinsic calibration standards.
• Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
• Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data during calibration.
• Analyze measurement data for trends and identify abnormalities.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions.
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
• Train subordinates in calibration concepts and procedures.
