Job summary

Standard Calibrations, Inc. seeks a Flow Calibration Technician to calibrate, verify, troubleshoot, and repair IM & TE used for liquid-flow measurement in a laboratory setting.

You will operate calibration systems, analyze data, prepare reports, and support accreditation goals while ensuring safety and quality in line with SCI procedures. Travel is local with occasional overnight travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, verify, troubleshoot, and, when authorized, repair IM & TE used for liquid-flow measurement to ensure compliance with published specifications and applicable procedures.
• Maintain primary and/or intrinsic calibration standards.
• Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
• Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
• Analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities trends and/or predicting future values.
• Identify IM & TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
• Calibrate and repair IM & TE for liquid-flow measurement in a laboratory setting.
• Operate flow benches, pumps, reservoirs, reference/master flowmeters, valves, piping, pressure and temperature instrumentation, and associated data-acquisition equipment.
