Job summary

Sharp Decisions seeks a Scientist 1 to join our Formulation team, executing and optimizing lipid nanoparticle formulations for nucleic acid delivery. You will work with senior scientists to implement DoE-based screening, analyze data, and document results in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on LNP formulation, characterization (DLS, zeta potential), and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with a focus on reproducible data and meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Engineering or related field.
• Experience in LNP formulation and nucleic acid encapsulation.
• Proficiency with DLS and zeta potential methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize LNP formulation and characterization for nucleic acids in vitro/in vivo.
• Implement DoE-based screening to identify optimal LNP compositions and processing parameters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill formulation requests.
• Support early development and downstream processing, including stability studies.
• Maintain detailed records of formulation activities and results.
• Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to the team.
• Contribute to routine lab management and inventory tasks.
