Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking an IT Engineer with strong Windows and Linux administration to support a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. You will manage hybrid Windows and RHEL desktop/server environments and deliver Tier II support in secure, mission-critical settings.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of mixed OS experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and DoD 8570 CE training within six months. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training required.
• 8+ years of Windows and Linux administration experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• DoD 8570 CE training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux workstations and servers for stability, performance and security.
• Provide Tier II IT support across large enterprise environments.
• Lead triage, incident resolution and cross-platform troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Maintain ITIL-based incident management and reporting.
