Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Linux/Microsoft Systems Administrator for a Federal Intelligence Agency contract in Aurora, CO.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph and meet IA requirements; DoD 8570 CE training within six months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent
• 5+ years of related systems administration experience
• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
• DoD 8570 CE Training within 6 months of hire
• DoD IA certifications such as Security+ CE or SSCP or CCNA-Security required to start
• Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows 10, Server 2012/2016; Linux familiarity

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II support and administer Windows and Linux workstations
• Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes and performance issues
• Investigate user performance and coordinate improvements with teams
• Assist customers with incident resolution for Linux and Windows apps
• Provide remote end user desktop support
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term fixes
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders
• Participate in special projects as needed
