Job summary

C3EL is seeking a Linux System Administrator to support DISA's GSM-O II contract at Ford Island, Hawaii. The role focuses on maintaining Red Hat Linux environments and Windows Server within a global network management system, with occasional travel and on-call support.

The ideal candidate holds an active US government Top Secret clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and experience with VMware vCenter, SAN/NAS storage, and AWS cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required (in-scope).
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Experience with VMware vCenter and related products.
• Experience integrating Network Management and Element Management systems with network performance, ticketing, and security subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multi-user Linux systems and Windows Server in a large network.
• Set up administrator and service accounts, tune system performance, install system-wide software.
• Coordinate with network administrators; provide on-call, extended hours, and weekend support as required by mission.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to computing resources; document procedures and metrics.
