A technology services organization in Fort Collins is looking for a Sustaining Engineer. The ideal candidate will handle customer resolution plans for network-attached file systems and troubleshoot various connectivity protocols like NFS and SMB. Applicants should possess strong C/C++ programming skills, proficiency in Linux, and experience in debugging and analyzing core dumps. This full-time role requires excellent communication and analytical skills to manage high-visibility customer cases and provide timely updates.

Qualificações

• In-depth knowledge of Linux, especially networking and systems functionality.
• Experience with client connectivity protocols like NFS, SMB, and HTTP.
• Ability to troubleshoot across multiple Operating Systems including Red Hat Linux and CentOS.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare customer resolution plans for network attached file systems issues.
• Triaging defects and troubleshooting alongside HP's customers.
• Conduct patch releases and testing based on customer use cases.

Conhecimentos

C, C++ programming

Debug/Code analysis of Core Dumps

Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel

Experience in troubleshooting and debugging
