Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a 100% hands-on Storage Services Software Engineer to join our block storage group in Santa Clara. You will architect and implement next-gen distributed storage services, working closely with networking and other teams to meet extreme performance and scalability goals.

The role requires a strong C/C++ background, Linux kernel experience, and a track record in distributed systems design. Equity and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

B.Sc., M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
15+ years of experience as a senior developer, preferably in storage, networking, and/or operating-systems.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Experience with Linux block subsystem, File system and IO stack, storage protocols and standards, especially NVMe.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems; knowledge of block/file storage and/or networking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

100% hands-on coding in C language, Kernel and Userspace.
Research, design, implement and test distributed storage services and features in Host and DPU environments.
Analyze and solve challenging bugs and customer cases in large scale production systems; drive new solutions.
