Job summary

Everpure is seeking an experienced engineer to join a world-class team building enterprise storage solutions. You will develop and optimize the Linux kernel, contributing to high-performance, resilient products.

Responsibilities include feature development, maintenance, performance tuning, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware vendors. Strong C/C++ skills and a deep understanding of storage protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Linux kernel and device driver development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience; strong OS, architecture and networking fundamentals.
• Experience upstreaming Linux kernel code and storage concepts (NVMe/PCIe).
• C/C++ programming experience and strong debugging skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features within the Linux kernel for Pure’s storage products.
• Maintain and patch existing Linux code to fix issues, including customer problems.
• Optimize kernel performance within Pure’s arrays to meet requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with partners to diagnose hardware/software issues.
• Lead architecture and software development from concept to release with high quality.
• Mentor peers and participate in code reviews across teams.
• Define requirements for upcoming enterprise storage server projects.
