Valley Health is seeking a Linen/Mail Distribution Manager to lead operations for two service lines in a hospital setting. You will work with area Supervisors to build a strong team, train with the Training Director, and ensure quality in linen, mail, and related processes.

You will also handle payroll and HR duties for both service lines. The role requires a High School diploma (AS or BS preferred) and 5 years of operations management experience, with strong leadership, communication, and

• Strong understanding of the Environmental Services function and ongoing changes.
• Strong understanding of Regulated Medical Waste.
• Excellent consultative, persuasive, financial and quantitative skills.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.

• Displays excellent leadership skills by being open, direct, approachable and enthusiastic.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Linen/Mail Distribution operations for both service lines.
• Work closely with area Supervisors to build a strong support team.
• Train in conjunction with the Training Director.
• Oversee equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Work with vendors to maintain relationships.
• Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and growth of employees.
• Follows infection control policies and procedures.
• Oversee quality control of linen, service, supplies, and loss minimization.
• Document soiled products in collaboration with the vendor.
• Oversee the mailroom for quality, budget, accuracy of mail delivery, payroll and HR for both service lines.
