Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center, part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a Vehicle/Equipment Operator I. You will pick up soiled linen, deliver clean linen to campus homes, and supply incontinent products while ensuring carts and vehicles are clean and sanitary.

Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Work hours are 6:30 AM – 3 PM, Monday through Friday, in Environmental Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalency acceptable.
• Experience with vehicles/equipment used daily preferred.
• Must be able to perform duties with attention to safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pickup soiled linen and deliver clean linen to all homes and program areas.
• Deliver incontinent products to all homes on campus.
• Wash and sanitize laundry carts and the soiled linen room; keep vehicle clean at all times.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
