Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation of Laundry truck to pick up soiled linen and deliver clean linen to contract hospitals
• Loads and unloads soiled linen from contract hospitals
• Remove linens from washers, loads and unloads dryers and sorts linen in clean linen area in preparation for finishing
• Examines articles for stains, tears or otherStacks linens for distribution or places them in supply storage
• Reports linen supply shortages to supervisor
• Cleans delivery equipment and assists with other cleaning duties in laundry/linen department
• Folds, sorts and stacks items on table or in carts
• Train all new employees for linen tasks
