Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) - Linemen

Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) is seeking experienced Linemen to join our travel construction crew. This team works on CIPCO transmission line construction, storm restoration, and maintenance across Iowa. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement and offers excellent benefits and per diem. Members of the travel crew have no residence restrictions and travel to the worksite weekly.

Schedule

• 42 hours/week (including 2 hours of mandatory overtime)
• Winter Hours (November 1 – February 28/29): 40 hours/week (overtime as needed)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited electric utility lineman training program or substantial equivalent on-the-job training and experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
