About the Role:

The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional 5-star service through effective communication and quality work.

Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $17.00, based on experience, with additional incentives possible.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Carry out vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
4. Complete Courtesy Inspections on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional needs.
5. Assist with inventory management and store duties to maintain a guest-ready environment.
6. Follow safety standards and test drive vehicles according to policies.
7. Adhere to company policies, environmental, and safety standards, and complete required training.
8. Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts and welders.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Owns or participates in the tool purchase program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and reaching.
