Job summary

Bird Electric Enterprises in North Carolina is seeking a Journeyman Lineman for a full-time, on-site position. You will direct and supervise the installation or repair of power cables, coordinate crews, and ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety standards.

The role requires experience with high voltage systems and a strong emphasis on safety. You will mentor crew members, manage daily field operations, and support project schedules in a demanding construction environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman or equivalent with industrial construction experience and high voltage work.
• Strong knowledge of installation or repair of power cables and distribution systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to complete pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise installation or repair of cables in electrical power or distribution systems.
• Lead safety processes and programs to achieve zero injuries.
• Coordinate scheduling, material control and crew hours; review timecards for accuracy.
