Job summary

Peak Energy Solutions is seeking a Lineman Operator to safely operate specialized equipment for overhead electrical distribution and transmission work. You will work with line crews to position equipment, access sites, and support line construction and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include operating bucket trucks and cranes, assisting with pole setting and stringing, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in electrical utility or construction environments.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to obtain/maintain CDL if required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners, cranes, and other line construction equipment.
• Maneuver equipment to access work sites, position materials, and support overhead line work at various heights and locations.
• Assist linemen with overhead line construction activities including pole setting, conductor stringing, and hardware installation.
• Operate equipment to dig pole holes, hoist materials, and position tools and equipment as directed.
• Support routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of overhead powerlines and associated equipment.
• Transport tools, materials, and replacement components to job sites using appropriate equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; use PPE and safety devices.
• Maintain clear communication with linemen, foremen, and supervisors regarding equipment status and site conditions.
• Complete equipment logs, inspection forms, and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.
