Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC is seeking a skilled ground worker to assist linemen in overhead power distribution line construction, maintenance, and repair across outdoor sites in varying weather. The role requires readiness for long hours, on-call storm work, and strict safety standards.

You will help with bucket trucks and digger derricks under supervision, document switching logs, and coordinate with dispatch and system operators. CDL is required, and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Assist linemen in overhead distribution line work.

Responsibilities

• Assist linemen in construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead power distribution lines.
• Perform sectionalizing and isolation for maintenance or emergency operations.
• Conduct pre-job inspections and ensure PPE and equipment are in working condition.
• Communicate with line crews, dispatch, and system operators regarding switching orders and status.
• Document work performed, including logs and equipment status reports.
