We are seeking dedicated and skilled Linemen (Class A, B, C) to join our team. The Lineman will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and technical excellence. The classification (A, B, or C) will be determined based on experience, certifications, and job responsibilities.
Perform all aspects of electrical line work, including installation, repair, and maintenance of high-voltage power lines.
Lead crews in the field, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Climb poles and work at heights while following safety protocols.
Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and respond to power outages and emergency repairs.
Train and mentor lower-level linemen and apprentices.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and industry safety standards.
Assist in the construction and maintenance of power lines under the guidance of Class A Linemen.
Climb poles and work with energized and de-energized lines.
Operate aerial lifts and assist in setting poles and anchors.
Perform troubleshooting on electrical lines and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and assist in emergency restoration efforts.
Assist senior linemen in installing and repairing electrical lines.
Perform ground work, including loading/unloading materials and preparing tools.
Operate basic equipment and assist in setting poles and running wire.
Learn and follow safety procedures, including wearing PPE and attending safety meetings.
Develop skills to advance within the lineman classification.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a lineman.
Journeyman Lineman certification preferred.
Experience working on energized high-voltage lines.
Valid CDL Class A license preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in electrical line work.
Ability to climb poles and work with limited supervision.
Valid CDL Class B license preferred.
0-2 years of experience in electrical line work.
Completion of an apprentice program or relevant training is a plus.
CDL or ability to obtain one within a specified period.
