Job description

Nesco Resource is looking for a 2^nd Shift Operator-EP located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM

Pay: $17-$18/hour depending on experience (+12% shift differential)

Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Operator to join the (EP) lab. This role involves performing repetitive tasks to electropolish wires, tubes, and components while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely work with and handle hazardous chemicals following proper protocols
• Load and prepare parts for each step in the electropolishing process
• Perform etching, electropolishing, passivation, and rinsing in the correct sequence
• Use timers to manage time-based process cycles
• Operate EP systems, ultrasonic cleaners, stir plates, and other related equipment
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers (or be willing to learn)
• Perform visual inspections using a microscope
• Follow all safety and PPE guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical, lab, or manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of chemical handling and safety practices
• Ability to read and understand safety and procedural documentation in English
• Experience in food handling, raw material prep, or PPE-intensive roles is a plus
