Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Overhead Distribution Groundperson to support installation, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized lines in accordance with safety standards.

The role involves assisting line personnel, preparing materials on the ground, and coordinating with property owners. Travel for emergency storm work may be required. Competitive benefits are offered and training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Must be able to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhead line work from the ground following Safety and Health standards.
• Assemble material on the ground to be installed by line personnel.
• Problem solve with unidentified circumstances on any job; communicate with property owners about work.
• Ensure daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipment; maintain equipment safely.
