Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Apprentice Lineperson to assist in constructing and maintaining overhead distribution lines and equipment.

The role is entry-level, offering hourly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options. Candidates should be prepared for field work, potential travel, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of trade experience or formal training.
• DOT medical card required within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.
• Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work.

Responsibilities

• Clear work area and maintain safe jobsite conditions.
• Assist with assembling material and installation of lines from the ground.
• Climb wooden poles to perform duties.
• Excavate to assist in installation of structures or cable.
• Communicate work to be performed to public/private property owners.
• Follow regional safety guidelines and policies.
• Operate tools (hand tools and power equipment) as needed.
• Work around energized parts with hearing protection.
• All other duties as required by Supervisors.
