Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking helpers to assist skilled craftspersons in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems at construction sites in Ardmore, OK. You will work under supervision, climbing poles or using bucket trucks, and handling hand and power tools to support routine maintenance and repairs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in craft discipline and knowledge of safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and repair electrical distribution and transmission systems.
• Assist stringing wire conductors and cables between poles and structures.
• Assist with opening switches and grounding devices to remove hazards.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Learn to identify defective components using diagrams and testing instruments.
• Assist with excavating and drilling to erect structures.
