Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an entry-level assistive craftsperson to support skilled technicians on industrial sites in Texas. You will learn to interpret drawings and plans, help install conduit and electrical components, and support testing and commissioning activities.

The role involves working around construction environments, following supervision, and moving between tasks as required by the project schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess basic knowledge of interpreting drawings and plans.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely on site.
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret drawings, sketches, software and plans to determine procedures.
• Assist with installing electrical conduit and maintaining assemblies.
• Assist with testing and startup of electrical systems.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and needed adjustments.
• Possibly pull wire through conduit and connect to fixtures.
• Work with high and low voltage systems on site.
