Job summary

Dave & Buster's/Main Event Entertainment is hiring a Line Cook in McDonough, GA. You will prep and cook menu items per recipes, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with the service team to ensure timely, accurate dishes.

Requires at least 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience and ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits and a culture that supports growth are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)

• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned
